Slowey & the Boats are pioneers of Philadelphia’s Hawaiian jazz scene. A five-piece instrumental concern, S&TB deftly blend elements of traditional folk melodies, western swing, ballads, tangos, and Hawaiian party classics – and all before you’ve finished your first Mai Tai. Their music has something for everyone – young, old, cool, uptight, and S&TB even enjoys bipartisan support at a time of unprecedented political gridlock.
